We work together to make the best possible rig for you. If you aren’t sure about pickups, neck shapes, amps, etc., I have many instruments, pedals, amps, etc. for you to try before we decide which way to go. A great guitar has to look the way you want, sound the way you want, and fit you ergonomically so it practically disappears in your hands and lets you focus on your music. A great amp really defines the sound of the electric guitar - one can’t go without the other. This can be a very detailed process, but it is fun, exciting and rewarding!

There are currently 40 +/- guitars and 14+/- amps in the shop where you can try out different sounds and feel. There is a wide variety of neck shapes, scale lengths, pickup configurations, solid and hollow; guitars, basses and lap steels. Auditioning a variety of instruments can help you hone in on what type of instrument you are looking to achieve your musical goals.

After I get a sense of your playing style, goals and aesthetic, I will put together a spec sheet and pricing. A 50% deposit is required to begin a build, which usually takes 4+ months. We will likely meet a few times during the build to confirm ergonomics and aesthetics, and maybe have a beer. Guitar prices start at $2400. Amps upon request.
